Charlotte Di Carlo
Charlotte is an artist, with an art degree. She frequently tells people about her art degree while she makes pizzas, at one of Toronto's best pizza places. It doesn't really help her while making pizza, but it did teach her how to make paper and bind books, which she uses in the creation of her zines, and notebooks. Her zines explore her life, and sometimes venture down the road of fiction. But hey her zines are cool, and should definitely be looked at by people.

Zines
I mostly make zines about my day to day life. I am a mom of two amazing kids and a bit a bizarre lady, and my zines explore those subject matters. I have drawn my zines all digitally, and cut and put them together by myself. I love that zines can be made in such a variety of formats and am always exploring different formats of creating them.
Books
I make paper out of old paper. I love being apart of the recycling process and taking my art, and my kids old art breaking it down and making a new space for art to be made again. I take the paper I make and bind them in a variety of different ways, from buttonhole bindings, to Japanese stab bindings.
Art
I love drawing and painting but with having kids around it's usually not the easy. Digital Art and drawing with pencils have always been the easiest for me to do, as they don't take long to set up or put away. I have some drawings I recently did on stationery that was found in my grandfathers office when they recently moved to a retirement home. I also have some prints of my digital art, and a couple of screen prints I did in university I still have kicking around.
