Black History Month is HERE!

Join Artspace in celebrating and amplifying the work of Black artists in Nogojiwanong (Peterborough) and across Turtle Island.

Check out our plans underway:

✨️ Instagram Takeovers: Every Monday of BHM we will be handing over our Instagram page to a different Nogojiwanong-based Black artist. Learn about their practice and engage with them on our Instagram page. Make sure to tune into Artspace’s Instagram on Mondays throughout February!
Click here to read more about each of the artists on our blog!

✨️ #TBT: Each Thursday we are highlighting Black Artists in Peterborough and Artspace's Exhibition History.  Click here to read Zwena’s fantastic write-up on our first TBT feature, Beau Dixon!

✨️ Sankofa Crafting Circle: On February 17 from 1 to 4 pm we are hosting the Sankofa Crafting Circle, a collective art-making circle facilitated by Zwena Gray. This is a closed event for Black community members. Registration required. Click here to register for this fantastic event!
