Maker Space Workshop - Sustainable Sewing with Stoney Lake Textiles

Join us, as we learn how to give our old fabrics and scraps a new life! This workshop FREE as part of our 2023 Maker Space Workshop series. Beginner and intermediate sewers welcome.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to select, cut, assemble, and sew fabric pieces into a larger usable piece. Emerance will then walk participants through turning their new fabric into a small and ready to use sewing kit!

What to bring:

- Participants are encouraged to bring their own textile sample (an old shirt, sheet, etc.) that they would like to repurpose into usable fabric.

- Participants are welcome to bring their sewing machine, although it is not required! Everything we learn in this workshop can be accomplished with machine or hand sewing methods.

- A lunch!
