2022... Here we go again!

 
As the province starts to re-open here's what the next weeks  and months are (hopefully) gearing up to look like at Artspace.

It's been a cold couple weeks in Peterborough.

Instead of dragging yourself downtown to the gallery we invite you to enjoy programming from the comfort of your fleece pjs at home. Click on one of the links bellow to be transported straight to art online!

Book and Zine 

Vendor registration Feb 5th, Virtual Festival March 7 - 13

IT'S BACK!!

We're bringing the much loved Artspace Book and Zine Festival back for it's 6th iteration. 
 

This time it's all Online!! We'l be creating a unique micro site for the festival and hosting digital vendors, talks, panels, and instagram takeovers, small press publishers, comic and graphic novel illustrators, letter press printers and many more paper craft creators.

Keep an eye on our website in the coming weeks for a full schedule of events AND out poster launch.

Digital vendor registration will remain open until February 5th

Bennett Bedoukian: The Hidden Anatomy

 January 4 - February 19

You can catch Bennett's performance residency in progress most evenings (Tuesday - Saturday from 6pm onward) through the Aylmer street gallery windows. 

Starting this week you can also See and Hear the current iteration of the project on our website 

Every Week we will be uploading a new collaborative video work to the Hidden Anatomy programming page (linked above) of our website!

Membership Registration for 2022 is open! 

Membership is your chance to directly support Artspace while having your say in the types of things we do!
Members get exclusive access to digital and in person events as well as a vote at our Annual General Meeting every summer. 


 

Donation

A cash donation through Canada Helps or Mailed/Handed to the gallery is the easiest way to make sure that we continue to be able to create the exhibitions and programming that we are known for.
All donations over 25$ will receive a tax receipt.


 

Sponsorship

Community sponsorship is a unique way for businesses to support the arts and be recognized.

The Maker Space is
OPEN BY APPOINTMENT 
As of February 1st the maker-space will be re-opening to the public by appointment. 

Call or email the gallery to book your slot:

Tuesday - Friday 10am - 4pm 
Saturday 12pm - 3pm

(please make your booking at least 24h in advance, only confirmed bookings will be kept)

Only one household (up to 2 artists) will be allowed to use the space at any given time. 
Equipment will be available for use while you are in the space.
The maker space will be sanitized between bookings.
