Our Semicentennial

Artspace is turning 50!!!

Yes, we were founded in 1974, so Artspace's 50th anniversary is around the corner. Our personnel and membership frequently wonder aloud what this milestone means. What CAN it mean? What have we learned? What direction are we headed? How best can we serve our community?

Throughout 2024, our hope is to engage you with these questions, and the programming we'll present for connecting with our phenomenal community members through thoughtful and challenging exhibitions, projects, workshops, and plenty of opportunities for celebration.

Heralding this semicentennial year is a group members' exhibition - the selection process for which is underway - that has asked members to contemplate this moment of looking back and looking forward. Join us at the opening reception for our Juried Members' Exhibition on January 5, 7-9pm.

And, did you see our fancy new logo, crafted this fall by Cameron Noble? You'll see this beauty emblazoned on every little thing next year. Thanks, Cameron!

2023 is almost a wrap. Holiday hours forthcoming...
