Print Club - Fall Semester

Join us at Artspace for Printclub, our monthly art making drop-in centred around the diverse and expansive tradition of Print Making.

Over the course of 4 sessions, participants will learn about different printmaking techniques, while working on their own independent projects.

IMPORTANT UPDATES

Unlike previous iterations of print club, our fall sessions will be “Drop-In” style. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and ideas, and use the time to experiment with new techniques and styles. Artist Tim Laurin, along with other experienced printmakers will be onsite to answer questions and offer tips !

Fall Themes:

Session #1 - Monoprint, September 7th 2024

Session #2 - Kitchen Intaglio, October 5th 2024

Session #3 - Chine Colle, November 2nd 2024

Session #4 - Relief Print, December 14th 2024

**Please note that participants are also welcome to bring their current printmaking projects to work on, regardless of our monthly theme!

What does it cost?

Print club runs on a Pay What You Can model, with a suggested donation of $20 per session to cover cost of supplies. Participants will be invited to pay with cash or card on the day of the event.

Who can attend?

Printmakers of all skill levels are welcome! However, please note this is not a workshop, but instead a drop-in style event with limited instruction available, therefore participants are expected to attend with their own project and goals in mind. Participants must be 16 years of age or older to attend.

Do I need to register for all 4 sessions?

No! Each session will be fully self contained, with no knowledge of the first session required for the next. Participants are invited to individually register for each session, and may attend as many as they wish.

What supplies do I need?

Participating artists are invited to bring their own supplies, and are provided with a supplies list two weeks ahead of each session. However, supplies will also be provided and may be purchased on site!

How do I register?

Registration for each session will open 2 weeks ahead of the event, at12PM EST.

For example, registration for the September 7th session will open Saturday August 24th, registration for the October 5th session will open Saturday September 21st, and so on.
