Trent Experimental Methods & Media Lab
The Trent Experimental Methods & Media Lab (or EMM Lab) is a new addition to the Traill campus. We provide resources and community for research projects that draw on strengths—and reach audiences—beyond traditional modes of academic writing. It is both a media lab, providing production equipment for film, video, audio, print, and critical code projects, and a methods co-laboratory, in which faculty, students, and community partners explore creative methods of research and research-dissemination. Our risograph machine, and the zines, prints, and posters produced thereby, helps to support this mandate. The EMM Lab is currently directed by Dr. Anne Pasek.
