Katelynne Cagliostro
Katelynne Cagliostro (she/her) is an illustrator and educator currently residing in K’jipuktuk/ Halifax. She is an obsessive doodler whose work primarily focuses on self-love and personal growth through drawings, comics and zines. Her work aims to spread messages of self-kindness through stories of her personal life and imagery of blossoms. She believes that self-kindness is a radical expression of self-love. In her recent work, she discusses topics in her life such as body acceptance, mental health and navigating life as an emerging illustrator through daily comics.

Soft Days follows the daily life of super softie Cags. Cags is an avid tea drinker, plant mama and obsessive doodler. This book gives you a glimpse of my time during the New Grad Program with Visual Arts Nova Scotia. I share stories of navigating life as an illustrator, my relationship with my body and other funny, relatable stories.

//take care is a zine where I combined charming houseplants and some gentle reminders. I often compare myself to a plant when it comes to my growth and self-care. We are all just plants, slowly growing and changing. Be gentle with yourself and take care.
