Peripheral Review 2020-2021 Print Annual
The 2020-21 annual print publication is a collection of published essays, reviews, interviews and experimental responses published on our website in 2020 and 2021. Featuring writing by over 50 contributors. With print-only artist spreads by Sarah Davidson, Mariana Muñoz Gomez, Audie Murray, Preston Pavlis, Cheyenne Rain LeGrande, and Karen Tam. The issue also features a custom bookmark by Mariana Muñoz Gomez, and a pull-out booklet with a feature written by Ella Tetrault and Ella Dawn McGeough.

About the artist: Christina Hajjar is a Lebanese artist, writer, and cultural worker based in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Treaty 1 Territory. Her practice considers intergenerational inheritance, domesticity, and place through diaspora, body archives, and cultural iconography. As a queer femme and first-generation subject, she is invested in the poetics of process, translation, and collaborative labour. Hajjar is the co-founder of Carnation Zine and creator of Diaspora Daughter, Diaspora Dyke zine. She was a recipient of the 2020 PLATFORM Photography Award and received an honourable mention for the 2021 Emerging Digital Artists Award. https://christinahajjar.com
